What is The Ink Vault?

The first $150 is released when the membership is activated. Another $150 is released on each monthly anniversary until all 12 releases have occurred. Released, unused credit stacks for later use.

How does the 50% Ink Vault credit rule work?

Accepted Answer

For an eligible tattoo, available Ink Vault credit may cover no more than 50% of the tattoo’s final price. The member pays the remaining amount. For example, if an eligible tattoo’s final price is $600 and enough credit has been released, up to $300 in Ink Vault credit may be applied and the member pays the other $300.

What can Ink Vault credit be used for?

Ink Vault credit applies only to eligible tattoo services approved by Hustle Ink. It does not cover consultation fees, booking deposits, tips, merchandise, aftercare products, parties or events, cancellation, rescheduling or no-show charges, or other non-tattoo items. It cannot be applied to work completed before membership activation.

Can Ink Vault credit be transferred, cashed out, or used on past tattoos?

Accepted Answer

No. Ink Vault credit is personal to the approved member, nontransferable, and has no cash value. It cannot be sold, gifted, refunded as cash, or applied to tattoo work completed before membership activation.

Are consultation fees and booking deposits included in Ink Vault credit?

Accepted Answer

No. Consultation fees and tattoo booking deposits are separate from Ink Vault credit. The standard consultation fee is $50, a cover-up consultation is $75, and the tattoo booking deposit is $100. The shop minimum is $100. A consultation fee pays for consultation services; a booking deposit reserves an appointment.

How can I pay for an Ink Vault membership?

Approved applicants receive an individual Wix invoice or payment instructions specifically approved by Hustle Ink. If Hustle Ink approves a payment outside the site, the membership is not considered paid or active until the payment is verified, recorded in the client’s account, and a receipt is confirmed. Contact Hustle Ink if you need an approved payment option.

Does Ink Vault guarantee appointments, and how do I apply?

No. Ink Vault does not guarantee appointment availability, artist approval, or a specific tattoo date. Submit the application on the Ink Vault page. Hustle Ink reviews applications and contacts approved applicants with the agreement and payment instructions. Membership begins only after approval, the signed agreement, and verified full payment.
